Landscape Management Group Team about landscape managementIn the summer of 2008, Mike began traveling door to door in Centerville, Ohio with a wheelbarrow, a push mower, and a few hand tools to earn money for his college tuition. This soon turned into a viable business and was named Mike’s Landscaping, LLC. Once Mike could afford it, he bought his first pickup truck where he stored all his company’s equipment in the bed of this truck covered with a tarp until he could afford a small garage.

Fast forward a few years and you can now find a team of experts rebranded as Landscape Management Group serving customers in major cities throughout Ohio cities with a strong vision to continue to expand. With its home base right here in Columbus Ohio, Landscape Management Group has proven to be a trusted and reliable household name in the Greater Columbus area.

The best part about working for LMG is the team I work with. Everyone is extremely hard working and dedicated to their work. The various things we provide are exciting and not bland, we offer a vast array of services. The innovation of this company makes it great to work for. I’m excited to watch this company continue to grow!

Life outside LMG:

My family is my number one priority in life (work family included). Outside of work, I love riding bikes through downtown Columbus with my two amazing kids and checking out the city’s restaurants and festivals. I enjoy working out and playing basketball and volleyball (both of which I take way too seriously for someone who isn’t getting paid to play).

I also play guitar and piano, and if I could find the time, I’d love to get back to playing on the worship team at church. I’m always up for a good hike or a trip abroad when the opportunity comes up. And I’m proud to be part of a fast-growing business team making serious moves across Central Ohio and beyond.

Life Outside LMG:
Outside of LMG I really enjoy reading. I also love to be outdoors, especially by going on walks. When I’m not reading or walking, you can probably find me hanging out with my grandchildren!

Chad brings a strong background in marketing and a passion for landscape design to the LMG team. After leadership roles across four states, he transitioned into landscape sales in Texas—and quickly found his niche. Now back in his hometown of Columbus, Chad values being part of a company that prioritizes craftsmanship and client collaboration.

When my family and I moved back to Ohio, I knew I wanted to join a company that valued craftsmanship over volume, a team that prioritized quality and the transformation of a client’s vision into something tangible. That’s exactly what I found at LMG.

For me, the most rewarding part of the job is guiding clients through the entire process, from the first idea to the final reveal. Working with such a talented design team to bring those dreams to life is what motivates me every day.

Life outside LMG:

When he’s not guiding clients through their outdoor transformations, Chad’s with his family or cheering on Ohio State football. Fun fact: he spent his early years traveling the country with his family’s music group.

Best part about working at LMG:
With a strong background in entrepreneurship and sales, I was drawn to Landscape Management Group because it gave me the opportunity to combine my passion for the outdoors with helping property owners bring their visions to life. I love matching the energy and excitement of my clients and guiding them through the process of creating top-notch outdoor environments. Water features are a personal favorite of mine, there’s just something special about incorporating them into a landscape that transforms the whole space.

Life outside LMG:
Outside of work, you’ll usually find me golfing, fly fishing, hunting, or hanging out with my bird dog. I’m a proud University of Kentucky grad but when football season rolls around, I’m all about the Buckeyes. Come basketball season though, it’s blue all the way.

The most rewarding part of working at Landscape Management Group is collaborating directly with clients to refine their designs and bring their visions to life. I love the moments when clients feel truly heard and know they’re getting the project of their dreams. LMG also offers a unique opportunity to gain broad and valuable experience in the field, all while having the full support of my coworkers. This environment has made my transition from school to the professional world exciting and fulfilling.

Life Outside LMG:
Outside of work, I spend a lot of time playing video games and hanging out with my cats. This year, I’m hoping to do more traveling as I can. A fun fact about me? During my time in school, I had the incredible opportunity to do a traditional grand tour, spending a month in Rome and a few weeks backpacking through Europe.

Life Outside LMG:
I’m happiest when I’m outside enjoying good weather, whether it’s walking a trail or discovering a new park. I’m also a big fan of board games, video games, and spending quality time with friends. And a fun fact about me? My birthday lands on one of the rarest days of the year—Christmas Eve!

Life outside LMG:
I like to be with family and my newborn son Leo Jackson! Fishing, taking walks and honestly just enjoying my free time, what little time I get, but the most important thing is just being happy.

Life Outside LMG:
I own a business doing collectibles, I get to find consignments from famous people and sell them. I really love this job as well because I get to meet many new people and travel. Within traveling I see a lot of cultures and parts of the world! When I’m not doing this, I enjoy spending time with my loved ones or taking my dogs to the park!

What I find most rewarding is knowing that the work I do behind the scenes helps every team move faster, communicate better, and stay protected. It feels good contributing to a mission-driven company where the systems I build actually make people’s jobs easier.

Life Outside LMG:
I enjoy spending time with my family and being involved in my kids’ lives. I’m big on tech, problem-solving, and learning new tools or systems just for fun. I like staying active and getting outdoors when I can to metal detect. A fun fact about me: I have a habit of taking things apart just to understand how they work — and usually putting them back together better.

My husband works for LMG and so I’ve known Mike (the owner) and the company for several years and love the people and dedication to customers so when they needed a permit specialist I knew I had to apply. I enjoy the behind the scenes work to get people what makes them happy and love seeing the end result. LMG does a magical job at that from start to finish on every project!

Life Outside LMG:
I enjoy scrapbooking, cooking & baking, spending time with my husband and 3 kids, and watching college basketball & football. Fun fact: I was born and raised in a small town in Ohio rarely anyone has heard of (unless you are a die hard sports fan) due to the amount of pro athletes that came from there.

Life Outside LMG:
Outside of work, I enjoy spending my leisure time drag racing, hunting, and fishing. I also love spending time with my grandkids. My grandson’s really into monster trucks right now, which keeps things fun and exciting.
